The Bible teaches us that, when we become a Christian, the Holy Spirit gives each of us spiritual gifts that we are to use to build up the church, reach non-believers, and glorify God. Every believer has at least one spiritual gift, and some of us may even have more than one. Which ones do you believe that you possess?

While definitions may vary regarding the understanding and implications of each of the gifts listed below, it is helpful for us to understand what you believe regarding these gifts, and how God has equipped you. Ultimately, we lean on God's written word as the guidelines for how we see these gifts used within the body of Christ.
Administration (I contribute efficiency and execution to accomplish ministry goals.)
Apostleship (I start and oversee new churches or ministries.)
Craftsmanship (I design and construct items to be used for ministry.)
Creative Communication (I can creatively communicate God’s truth through a variety of art forms.)
Discernment (I contribute clarity and can distinguish truth and error or right and wrong.)
Encouragement (I contribute affirmation to strengthen, comfort, or urge to action those who need it.)
Evangelism (I enjoy sharing my faith and can effectively communicate the gospel to unbelievers so that they respond in faith.)
Faith (I act on God’s promises with confidence and unwavering belief that he will come through.)
Giving (I generously and cheerfully contribute money and resources to the work of the Lord.)
Healing (I have the ability, by the Spirit, to restore people to health and wholeness.)
Helps (I love to do the practical and necessary things that free up, support and meet the needs of others.)
Hospitality (I love to care for people by providing food, fellowship, and/or shelter.)
Intercession (I consistently pray for others and see frequent and specific results.)
Interpretation (I have the ability to interpret what those who speak in tongues are saying.)
Knowledge (I love to bring truth to the body through a revelation of biblical insight.)
Leadership (I can cast vision and motivate people to accomplish the purposes of God.)
Mercy (I cheerfully and practically help those who are suffering or in need.)
Miracles (I have the ability to bring about supernatural interventions of God that glorify him.)
Prophecy (I reveal truth and proclaim it for understanding, correction, repentance or building up others.)
Shepherding (I nurture, care for, and guide people toward ongoing spiritual maturity.)
Teaching (I can clearly explain and apply the Bible in a way that causes greater Christ-likeness in listeners.)
Tongues (I have the ability to speak, worship, or pray in a language that is unknown to me.)
Wisdom (I can easily apply spiritual truth to effectively meet a need in a given situation.)
At Refuge, our Sunday gathering is an opportunity for us to worship together, grow in our knowledge of God and our relationship with him, as well as engage our city and culture with his Gospel; this is a team effort and takes multiple hands on deck. We expect all of our members to invest in this work and consider serving on Sundays to make this possible.
